Responsibilities
- Provide targeted ELA and/or mathematics instruction grounded in state content standards, assessment blueprints, grade‑level learning progressions, and high‑quality instructional resources.
- Deliver evidence‑based ELA and mathematics instruction.
- Document student learning and monitor pre‑ to post‑assessment growth.
- Modify instructional strategies when progress stalls.
- Align tutoring with classroom instruction and collaborate with classroom teachers.
- Use classroom, benchmark, pre‑assessment, and formative data to identify priority skills, address instructional needs, and adjust tutoring based on ongoing evidence of learning.
Qualifications
- Content expert in ELA and/or mathematics.
- Experienced educator (retired or former).
- Charismatic and driven personality able to inspire and motivate teachers and school leadership.
- Familiarity with various educational software or tools to implement best practices and monitor progress.
