About the role

The library utilizes volunteers in various capacities to support its mission of connecting the community to ideas, information, and inspiration. Volunteers can help keep materials organized, assist patrons with technology, mentor youth, and participate in one-time events.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Reading Bridge Mentor: Meet weekly with a student, lead literacy sessions, and set goals for the week.
• Technology Assistant: Assist with printing, copying, scanning, and guiding patrons through digital tools.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 3 months commitment with typical shifts of 1-2 hours per week.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
