About the Role
North Seattle Young Life is seeking a Part-Time Mission Staff to help develop and grow WyldLife, our middle school ministry, in North Seattle. This person will primarily focus on building a thriving WyldLife presence at one of our public middle schools in the Northeast part of Seattle. The Mission Staff will work closely with the Area Director, volunteer leaders, parents, and community members to build a sustainable ministry where middle school students are known, cared for, and invited into meaningful relationships with caring adults and Jesus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow WyldLife ministry in North Seattle, focusing on one public middle school.
- Build relationships with students, parents, and potential volunteers.
- Lead and participate in spiritual development activities, including prayer, fellowship, and discipleship.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer leaders.
- Plan and conduct Young Life club meetings, Campaigners, and camping trips.
- Raise financial support and maintain donor relationships.
- Network with community members, including principals, pastors, and parents.
- Adhere to Young Life policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism and stewardship.
- Set and review strategic ministry plans to reach every kid.
Qualifications
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- College degree preferred.
- Commitment to Young Life’s Statement of Faith and Christian mission.
- Self-motivated, teachable, and excited about building community.
- Heart for the marginalized in the community.

Pay
The anticipated salary rate for this position can range from $6,120.00 - $7,660.00 depending on relevant experience and education, working location, and scheduled weekly hours.
