Mission Staff (10 Hours/Week) - Skagit Valley

About the role

This Mission Staff position is tasked with building and leading a team of volunteer leaders, developing a contact work strategy, and providing discipleship opportunities for middle schoolers in Skagit Valley. This position works in tandem with developing teams at other middle schools in the area.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of volunteer leaders
• Develop a contact work strategy
• Provide discipleship opportunities for middle schoolers
• Work in tandem with teams at other middle schools
• Support with additional training and resources
• Work 10-20 hours per week, with potential for expansion
• Salary range from $9,900 to $19,000, with COLA based on zip code

Requirements

• Young Life Statement of Faith
• Professionally ready, willing, and able to fulfill ministry functions
• Ready to fulfill ministry functions as required by the organization
• Willing to refrain from conduct and statements that detract from biblical standards
• Abide by all policies and practices of Young Life

Qualifications

• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
