Mission Operations Specialist (Product)

Responsibilities

• Support the team by driving product supporting programs toward goals.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define goals, objectives, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, including technical expertise and problem-solving assistance.
• Plan and support mission operations, including route optimization, environmental considerations, and risk mitigation.
• Operate ASV operations during missions, monitor vessel performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from ASV missions to generate actionable insights and reports.
• Train DoD personnel on ASV operation, mission planning, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, maritime studies, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience in maritime operations, particularly with autonomous or unmanned systems.
• Proficiency in mission planning software, GIS tools, and maritime navigation systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to certify as “fit for work” by demonstrating ability to swim and tread water, lift up to 75 lbs., and spend extended time periods on the water.
