Mission Home Attendant - Cheyenne, WY
About the Role
This position helps provide and maintain facilities that offer Church members places to work, worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances. Each facility should provide a spiritual setting for worship and present an image of reverence and dignity in the community. The role exists to serve priesthood leaders by supporting the operation of temples, headquarters, and other facilities to help bring souls unto Christ.
This position works under the direction of the facility manager and in coordination with the mission president or mission president's wife to assist with the operation of the mission home.
Responsibilities
- Housekeeping: Clean the mission home following missionary transfers, meetings, or as directed. Duties include cleaning kitchens, floors, restrooms, changing linens, dusting, and waste removal.
- Cooking: Assist in meal preparation under the direction of the mission president's wife, including meals for visitors and special meetings.
- Child Care Assistance: Assist with child care as requested by the mission president and/or mission president's wife.
- Laundry: Assist with laundry tasks.
- Other duties as assigned by the mission president and/or mission president's wife.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs, bend, and reach.
- Must be able to use a computer and/or a cell phone.
Qualifications
This is an entry-level position requiring no specialized training. Preference is given to candidates with domestic care experience, such as homemakers or others with relevant experience.
