Responsibilities
- Responsible for the technical delivery as technical resource for mission critical commissioning projects with minimal supervision while completing assignments that require independent judgement and evaluation.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Develop and manage project specific commissioning plans, commissioning procedures, checklists, test scripts, and schedules for Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning activities.
- Perform technical reviews of design documents and submittals specific to Electrical Systems.
- Lead onsite teams to perform functional performance tests on Electrical systems.
- Assist in providing project management and coordination to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget and schedule.
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years or more of progressive experience in building systems commissioning with at least 3 years of mission critical facility experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
- Able to work as part of a team, think creatively, and problem solve.
- Working knowledge and experience of electrical systems.
- Willingness to travel 75%+ as national level projects dictate - typically a rotation of 2-3 weeks onsite and 1 week offsite.
Considered a Plus
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- PE License or ability to obtain Commissioning Certification
- PMP Certification
- NICET Certification
