Mission Analyst

About the role

At Globalstar, you will be part of a team supporting the establishment and maintenance of a satellite constellation. Your primary responsibility will be to perform daily orbit determination calculations and support orbit raising operations for both existing and new Low Earth Orbiting satellites.

Responsibilities

• Perform orbit determination, propagation, and analysis using mathematical models.
• Use AGI’s Systems Tool Kit (STK), including ODTK, to model, analyze, and simulate orbital trajectories.
• Generate daily orbit data for satellite contacts, perform maneuver planning (orbit raising, station keeping), and support launch operations.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for troubleshooting and anomaly resolution.
• Support and develop scripts (Python, MATLAB) to automate orbital analysis tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher in Aerospace, Physics or closely related field
• 5+ years of experience with satellite operations, orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, or spacecraft flight dynamics
• 5+ years of experience with general satellite knowledge that included components, mass properties, satellite attitude, propulsion systems
• Expertise with Orbit Mechanics / Dynamics, Orbit determination, Ephemeris generation, and maneuver planning
• Experience developing and maintaining STK and ODTK using Python

Qualifications

• Master's or higher in Aerospace, Physics or closely related field (a plus)
• 10+ years of experience with satellite operations, orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, or spacecraft flight dynamics
