Location: Missouri

This is an hourly, temporary, non-benefited position, up to 20 hours per week.

About the role

The Department of Social Services partners with families and communities to protect children, rehabilitate youth, and move families to self-sufficiency so that Missourians can lead safe, healthy, and productive lives. This role supports the Children’s Division by providing family preservation and reunification services, investigating allegations of abuse and neglect, and conducting foster care and adoption case management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with office filing
• Assist with general data entry
• Ride along with Social Services Specialists for transporting children (as needed)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalent
• Possession of a valid vehicle operator’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Case management experience with Children’s Division
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Programs
• Ability to type accurately (preferred 30 words per minute)
• Ability to learn unique computer software necessary for the job
