About the role
Responsible for installing and maintaining welding equipment and performing various metal fabrication tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding machines and perform related metal fabrication tasks.
- Inspect work for quality and safety compliance.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- May assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with welding equipment and metal fabrication tools.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Proficient in using welding machines and related tools.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
