Miscellaneous Metals Project Manager

About the role

Hanover Iron Works, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Full Time Project Manager to oversee the successful completion of various miscellaneous metals projects from start to finish. You will manage timelines, budgets, and client coordination while ensuring quality control. This role offers the unique opportunity to work onsite, witnessing the transformation of raw materials into architectural masterpieces in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Detailing Manager to prepare and manage steel detailing and surveying of shop/fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors of other trades to ensure smooth project progress.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders and maintain "As Built" drawings.
• Create and establish project schedules and coordinate with contractors and trades.
• Maintain positive client relationships and ensure effective communication with all parties involved.
• Read specifications and blueprints to determine material requirements.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the fabricating and erecting process of miscellaneous metals.
• Experience coordinating and supervising subcontracted vendors.
• Strong ability to read specifications and blueprints to accurately determine material requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Tekla, Trimble, Powerfab, Fabtrol).
• Strong organizational skills to handle and maintain project documents in both hard copy and electronic formats.
• Excellent communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Valid US driver’s license.
