About the role

The Ministry Site Director is responsible for spiritual and organizational leadership, working with and through other people, and communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people.

Responsibilities

  • Ministry Team Development (60%): Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leader team; create connections between local churches and the ministry site; provide training materials and ministry site standards; develop healthy 3 Story teams; establish necessary support and guidelines; advocate for young people in the community; report progress and ministry updates to YFC.

  • Relational Ministry Action Development (30%): Manage, facilitate, and serve in Relational Ministry Actions (RMAs); direct 3 Story Teams; establish and develop programming materials; train and evaluate ministry site leaders in the implementation of curriculum materials.

  • Spiritual Responsibilities: Seek God’s guidance and wisdom; participate in prayer, devotion, and worship; teach and preach from the Holy Bible; model empathy, humility, and care for all people; promote equity and inclusion; be commissioned or licensed as a minister of the Gospel through the established Youth for Christ process, or ordained by an outside body recognized by Youth for Christ USA.

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Three years of ministry experience

Credentials Required & Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Three years of ministry experience
