About the role
The Ministry Leader at Wooster is responsible for overseeing the spiritual growth and development of the congregation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee weekly worship services and lead in preaching and teaching
- Mentor and equip members of the congregation for ministry
- Facilitate community building activities that promote unity and engagement within the congregation
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall health and vitality of the church community
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Theology or related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Qualifications
- Passion for Christian ministry
- Experience with youth and family ministry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Skills
- Effective public speaking and preaching skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
