Minister to Young Adults & Missions Coordinator

About the Role

The Minister to Young Adults & Missions provides pastoral leadership to Brookwood Baptist Church by cultivating a ministry for young adults while leading the church to actively participate in God's mission locally, nationally, and globally.

This minister creates environments where young adults are discipled, connected in authentic Christian community, equipped for leadership, and encouraged to live out their faith through service and mission.

As a member of the pastoral staff, this individual works collaboratively with church leadership to advance Brookwood's mission by developing disciples, strengthening partnerships, equipping volunteers, and providing opportunities for the entire congregation to participate in the Great Commission.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral leadership for young adult ministry
• Cultivate environments for discipleship, authentic Christian community, leadership development, and faith-based service among young adults
• Lead the church in local, national, and global mission participation
• Collaborate with church leadership to advance the church’s mission
• Develop disciples and strengthen partnerships
• Equip volunteers for ministry and mission engagement
• Create opportunities for the congregation to participate in the Great Commission
