About the role

We are seeking a Mining Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards in mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mining sites to ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Document findings and report to management
• Participate in incident investigations
• Train and mentor junior inspectors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mining inspection
• Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
