Mining & Equipment Shift Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Mining Shift Supervisor - Nights to lead our mining operations at our Oakdale, WI facility. This position requires strong leadership and operational skills, including managing heavy equipment teams and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of heavy equipment for loading, hauling, and unloading tasks.
• Manages a team of heavy equipment operators and ensures adherence to safety guidelines.
• Works closely with other supervisors and management to achieve operational goals.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Enforces safety policies and collaborates with other departments to ensure compliance with environmental and quality management systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as an Equipment Operator required.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver license and clean MVR.
• MSHA training and experience required.

Skills

• Knowledge and skill to operate basic heavy equipment pieces.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-starter with good judgment.
• Adaptable and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• High safety standards for self and others.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and perform basic mathematical calculations.
