Mining Engineer - Senior

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to lead on-site deployments of autonomous haulage systems in mining environments. The role involves acting as the primary liaison between the customer and technical teams, ensuring seamless integration of autonomous technology into existing operations while maintaining safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery of autonomous haulage systems in mining environments
• Manage teams and coordinate with customers for technology integration
• Oversee permitting, safety compliance, and operational processes

Requirements

• 15+ years of mining experience, with 5-10 years in leadership roles
• Proven involvement in technology rollouts such as autonomy or remote operations
• Mining Engineering degree
• Strong operational authority and excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work on-site in rugged environments with up to 75% travel across the U.S., based on mining schedules
