Aiken Minibus Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 5:00PM

Essential Functions

• Drives minibus safely according to YMCA policies, procedures, and state laws
• Maintains minibus in orderly and clean fashion
• Completes thorough checks before and after every trip, recording all information
• Records gas level, mileage, and maintenance on designated forms
• Cleans minibus out each day, after last use
• Always promotes safety, keeping first aid supplies fully stocked
• Announces minibus rules prior to departure for each trip
• Develops friendly and positive relationships among staff, volunteers, parents, and children
• Communicates regularly with other staff and supervisor
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current driver's license required
• Position requires a clear criminal background check to include a clean Motor Vehicle Report
• CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements is preferred
• 2 Years Driving experience
• 21 years of age
• Certifications required within 60 days of hire: CPR/AED/First Aid
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
