Van Driver / MiniBus Driver

About the Role

We are hiring Van/Minibus Drivers immediately, with no experience necessary as training is provided. Join us for walk-in interviews Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, at 127 Pine Rd, Brentwood NH. Bring a friend!

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation by operating a school bus or other location-specific vehicle on fixed or changing routes.
• Exhibit ethical behavior, personal integrity, and report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to supervisors.
• Report to duty on time and maintain routes in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist passengers in evacuating the vehicle during emergencies.
• Report accidents or incidents promptly per company policy.
• Follow company policies on student and passenger management.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Complete and submit required paperwork (route change sheets, time cards, vehicle repair requests) in a timely manner.
• Maintain a cooperative attitude with colleagues, supervisors, customers, and passengers while promoting company goodwill.
• Safely and efficiently use vehicle equipment, including wheelchair lifts, radios, and emergency equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities may apply for Paratransit Drivers per location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age (25 years of age for Tennessee School Bus Drivers per state law).
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid state license and required certifications to operate company vehicles.
• Must meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training.
• Must practice defensive driving and maintain a safe driving record.
• Compliance with federal, state, county, district, and contract-specific driver requirements.
