About the role
The Mine Production Trainee role is an entry-level position within Linwood Mining & Minerals' Quarry Operations. This role offers on-the-job training and does not require prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure proper clean-up and flow of production through physical and machine-driven work.
- Enjoyment of manual, physical work and being outdoors.
- Comfortable using basic tools such as a shovel, willing to learn how to operate equipment like a skidsteer, loader, or haul truck.
- A team player mentality and a desire to be part of a successful, hard-working team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Safety-oriented.
Skills
- Manual and physical work skills.
- Basic tool usage.
- Operational knowledge of equipment such as skidsteer, loader, or haul truck.

Pay
Pay starts at $22.00/hour+, based on experience.
Schedule
This is a 1st shift position that works Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3pm each day, with the option for overtime.
