Responsibilities
- Develop mining plans based on geological information
- Participate in engineering feasibility studies
- Prepare detailed ore reserve estimates
- Maintain and optimize mining methods and equipment
- Assist in mine design and ventilation management
- Collaborate with geologists in exploration and development
- Monitor mine ventilation and air quality
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of mine engineering principles and practices
- Ability to research and analyze complex information
- Awareness of safety practices and hazard recognition
- Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with mine planning and scheduling software
