Mine Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop mining plans based on geological information
• Participate in engineering feasibility studies
• Prepare detailed ore reserve estimates
• Maintain and optimize mining methods and equipment
• Assist in mine design and ventilation management
• Collaborate with geologists in exploration and development
• Monitor mine ventilation and air quality
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of mine engineering principles and practices
• Ability to research and analyze complex information
• Awareness of safety practices and hazard recognition
• Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with mine planning and scheduling software
