Millwright/ Welder Foreman

This is a full-time travel position with some local work.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Project Managers and/or Management team
• Maintain and enforce all safety standards
• Move, secure, install, build, load, and/or unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Perform welding and fabrication for repairs and installation of plant equipment, chutes, and crushers
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics, blueprints, and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs as needed
• Use stick weld and oxy/acetylene torches safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Direct cleaning and preparation of job sites
• Assist crew members in their duties when needed or when manpower requires
• Properly, efficiently, and safely apply types of oils and greases according to equipment/job specifications
• Perform various physical duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders, and/or platforms, bend, and squat
• Ability to walk, stand, or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing
• Ability to read blueprints
• Industrial, steel, or iron works experience
• Project management or supervisory experience
• Clean MVR and ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
• MSHA Surface and Underground certifications a plus
