Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and align industrial machinery and equipment, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and rotating equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures in material handling systems.
- Perform precision measurements, alignments, and balancing of equipment.
- Replace bearings, belts, chains, and other mechanical components.
- Assist with rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (technical training or apprenticeship preferred).
- 1+ years of experience as a millwright or industrial mechanic.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with conveyors and bulk material handling systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement tools.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, climbing, confined spaces).
- Valid driver’s license and proof to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in frac sand, mining, aggregates, or similar heavy industrial environments.
- Welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, stick).
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
