Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team in support of a paper manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
- Perform precision alignment of motors, machinery, and equipment.
- Responsible for the installation of bearings and predictive and preventative motor maintenance.
- Perform advanced pump repair, arc welding, proper riggings.
- Ability to use mobile cranes, lifts, and hoists.
- Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of 2-year technical program.
- 3+ years’ experience as an industrial millwright or maintenance mechanic or the completion of a formal 4-year millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
- Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
- Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have valid current driver’s license.

- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel. Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance. Thrive in a cross-functional team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
Pay
Hourly salary range for position: $32.61 (76% Apprentice) to $57.88
