Millwork Install and Service I - Quality Control
About the role
Texas Building Supply, a division of USLBM, is seeking a Millwork Install and Service I to join our team. This position will install various types of millwork in different applications, following manufacturer directions and warranty requirements.
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from the field supervisor regarding installation of millwork materials.
- Work with other installers to install millwork products as assigned and trained.
- Track time and materials as required for each installation project.
- Maintain all equipment in good order and report any malfunctions to the field supervisor.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Attend all training to learn new technology of building materials and installation methods as required by location management.
- Cross-train in other areas to expand knowledge and expertise.
- Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error-free and damage-free results.
- Comply with Company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience installing millwork products required.
- Read and use a measuring tape and other required tools for complete installation.
- Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written skills, and the ability to provide and/or follow detailed instructions.
- Available for overtime as needed.
