About the role
A very well established and growing manufacturer in CT is looking for an additional Millwork Engineer proficient with Microvellum software. The candidate will be responsible for engineering and programming casework, parts, paneling, and other millwork. The position includes project management of one’s own work and oversight of all phases of the job. Must have a strong understanding of AWI, QCP, and other industry standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to produce efficiently and without supervision, and has a strong understanding of architectural and commercial millwork as well as the cabinetry trade.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and program casework, parts, paneling, and other millwork using Microvellum software
- Manage projects independently, overseeing all phases from start to finish
- Ensure compliance with AWI, QCP, and other industry standards
Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Strong background in engineering software, specifically Microvellum
- Programming experience (will enhance compensation offer)
- Bench experience (a plus)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
