Miller Time Pub Bartender

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate daily bar setup, including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily function projections.
• Ensure stock, cutting, proper storage, and labeling of all fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to maintain product quality.
• Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, and provide friendly service.
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks using provided recipes while practicing portion control.
• Input orders into the Point of Sale system, creating checks for guests and associates to maintain accountability.
• Serve guests seated at the bar and assist with table service as needed.
• Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment items.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard products to adhere to health standards.
• Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service for a high-volume restaurant.
• High-level knowledge of spirits and beer, including the ability to recite trendy liquors, create new drinks, and understand wine.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle knives, glassware, bottles, corkscrews, ice scoops, and mixing tools, as well as reach overhead for stock.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English for guest communication and order-taking.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.
• 1-2 years of bartending experience required.
• Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and availability for all game days.
• Ability to obtain any government-required license or certificate; bartending certificate required.
