Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations require all candidates to pass a background check and drug screening to obtain a gaming license (Medical Marijuana cards are accepted).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
• Prior knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and cocktail recipes is essential
• Valid liquor serving license and food handler’s certification are necessary
• Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned—including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Frequent lifting, occasionally in excess of 50lbs, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and standing

Responsibilities

• Create an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere for guests during their dining and bar experience
• Provide excellent and timely service while maintaining clear communication with the back of house to ensure accuracy of orders
• Strictly adhere to recipes, procedures, and checklists to deliver a consistently high-quality experience
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Recommend drinks, upsell specials, and create a welcoming atmosphere in both bar and restaurant areas
• Ensure all alcohol is served responsibly and in full compliance with state laws and company policies, including verifying legal drinking age and politely refusing service when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware
• Accurately take and input food and beverage orders using the POS system, deliver orders efficiently, and ensure quality and presentation standards are met
• Handle cash, process payments, and accurately balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous responses to guest inquiries about the menu, ingredients, and dietary options
• Adhere to uniform requirements and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Follow all applicable state, federal, and tribal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
