Mill Operator Trainee
Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, Contech is seeking a Mill Operator Trainee to support America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.
About the role
As a Mill Operator Trainee you will operate overhead cranes, coil handlers or forklifts to move coil from storage to machine area; thread incoming coils through mill processes; operate mill components using manual and automatic control on the control panel; butt weld and grind strip ends manually; perform and record all QA check measurements required by the Quality Manual on product being produced; perform equipment setup, routine mechanical maintenance, and repairs to all mill process equipment.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to complete and pass the Hel-Cor Mill Certification within 1 year of hire.
- Forklift operation certification preferred.
