Mill Operator - Nights

About the role

Approximate shift hours: Sundays 8 PM to 7 AM and Monday through Thursday 11 PM to 7 AM.

Primary duties include the manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork. Additional duties encompass loading/unloading trucks, customer service, grounds and equipment maintenance, warehouse maintenance, forklift operation, and grain handling.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Assist other mill employees with operating activities.
• Operate scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, including housekeeping.
• Understand feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
• Accurately distribute feed directly to a feed truck.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Properly complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Agriculture background is a plus.
