Mill Maintenance Supervisor

Safety-sensitive position.

Schedule

7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, overtime as needed, including weekends and call-outs.

About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor will manage the maintenance staff in daily work including planned and unplanned activities. They will be responsible for staffing, scheduling, and any disciplinary actions required. Coordinate maintenance activities with the operations staff. Use CMMS to schedule, track, and develop preventative maintenance activities as well as any unscheduled repairs. Responsible for the staff’s adherence to all safety and food safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance staff in daily planned and unplanned activities.
• Handle staffing, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with operations staff.
• Use CMMS to schedule, track, and develop preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs.
• Ensure staff adherence to all safety and food safety policies.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• CMMS experience and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting background.
• Willingness to climb up to 200 feet high.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Willingness to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Fluency in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
• Willingness to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Willingness to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
• Must be able to work days and/or nights.
