Mill Machinist II - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities
- Perform a complete range of milling operations on all types of material using vertical mills, and tracer-type milling machines.
- Set up and operate a vertical mill.
- Make all set-ups using specified equipment.
- Occasionally develop new methods and machining techniques.
- Interpret drawings, occasionally work without operation sheets, and make difficult layouts.
- Need to work, at times, with minimum guidance.
- Inspect all work performed and detect unusual conditions, defective materials, and defective parts using different inspection equipment and processes.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English.
- Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Mill Machinist in a manufacturing setting.
Qualifications
- Enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.

Pay
Buffalo, NY: $28.00–$32.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
