Milking Supervisor (#011429) Wateree Farm Operations, Rembert (SUMTER) Level 2

Job Responsibilities

Under limited supervision of the Assistant Dairy Manager, responsible for the management of 1,000 cow dairy herd to include milking, breeding, and herd health.

Responsible for the supervision and training of an inmate workforce at the dairy.

Work hours will vary with other employees to include evenings, days, weekends, and holidays.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Requirements

• A high school diploma and experience in farm management.
• A bachelor's degree in agriculture may be substituted for the farm management experience.
