We are looking for dedicated and motivated active-duty military veterans to join our team for a Military SkillBridge Internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills gained through military service in the fast-paced world of Commercial banking and Credit Analysis.

About the Role

This position is right for you if you have 3-5 years of active duty military leadership experience with a strong preference for combat arms and a passion to start a career in finance and commercial banking. We offer a full time Military SkillBridge Internship to take you from military service to the finance industry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the financial health of businesses by analyzing their financial statements, cash flow, and other relevant data.
• Absorb and assess factors like revenue trends, profit margins, debt levels, and liquidity to determine the borrower's ability to repay loans.
• Assess the risk associated with lending to a particular borrower, considering industry trends, market conditions, and the borrower's credit history.
• Use various scoring models to quantify the creditworthiness of applicants and assign credit scores based on factors like payment history, credit utilization, and length of credit history.
• Compile detailed reports that outline the assessment of the applicant's creditworthiness, including financial ratios, risk analysis, and recommendations for loan terms or credit limits.
• Interact with borrowers to gather additional information, clarify financial details, and discuss potential concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues, such as loan officers and underwriters, to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of each application.

• 3-5 years of active duty military leadership experience (preference for combat arms, but not required).
• A passion to start a career in finance and commercial banking.
• Honorable service and exemplary service evaluations.
• Desire for leadership opportunities in the finance world after proving your ability to "run through walls" in the short term.
• Willingness to virtually attend a no-cost financial modeling certification program and test prior to transition.
