About the role

The program offers a unique opportunity for military personnel within their last 180 days of service to become certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Responsibilities

  • Attend 8-week classroom and practical application sessions.
  • Pass a National Registry computer written test and a hands-on practical skills test.
  • Upon successful completion, receive Missouri and/or Illinois EMT licenses.
  • Be eligible to apply for positions with GMR after obtaining state EMT-B certification.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • All required immunizations.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background checks, drug testing, and a physical agility test.
  • Be an active-duty service member within 180 days of EAS with command approval.

Qualifications
