Milieu Interventionist

About the role

Provides crisis mitigation services and social-emotional-behavioral interventions consistent with student IEP goals and program curriculum at assigned sites and for secondary grade levels.

Responsibilities

• Works in collaboration with other staff to develop measurable goals
• Applies knowledge of psychological and social work theories
• Creates a positive learning experience for secondary grade levels

Requirements

• Licenses and Certificates:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related field
  • Enrollment in a Master’s level graduate program in Psychology, Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Valid California driver’s license
• In lieu of one of the licenses and certificates requirements, the applicant must demonstrate reasonable expectation to qualify upon completion of the current semester.
