About the role
The Migrant Resource Teacher (MRT) is responsible for providing supplemental instruction to assigned migrant students under the direction and supervision of the Coordinator/Administrator or Early Childhood Education Program Director.
Responsibilities
- Supplemental instruction to assigned migrant students
- Work cooperatively with classroom teachers
- Perform other job-related tasks as required
Requirements / Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing K-12 multiple subject instruction
- Two (2) years classroom teaching experience
- Working with migrant student population
- Affiliations with agencies/services serving migrant families
- Copies of Transcript and Credential
- Resume detailing minimum two (2) years classroom teaching experience
Benefits
Initial placement up to 20 years of creditable experience may be accepted upon verification. Additional stipends are available based on educational level.
Pay
$59,464 - $126,388 Annually
Schedule
M-F; 7.0 Hrs/Day; 184 Days/Yr
