MIG welder

About the role

Progressive Machining, located in Spring City, PA, is seeking a talented MIG Welder with a minimum of 3 years of job-related experience to join our team. The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• MIG weld various metals and use hand tools
• Calculate material measurements to meet specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• Assist co-workers when needed and be a team player
• Perform other reasonable tasks when necessary

Requirements

• 3+ years experience MIG welding
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to measure with precision
• Pays attention to detail and performs quality checks throughout the project
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift and move heavy objects (50lb+)

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
