MIG Welder

About the role

Remedy Staffing is currently hiring MIG Welders for a fabrication facility in Mineola, TX, welding components used to build CNC machines. We are seeking reliable team members with welding experience who take pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on components according to production schedules and quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and fabrication drawings
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Produce parts that meet dimensional and quality specifications
• Inspect welds and finished products for accuracy and defects
• Perform visual inspections and identify areas needing repair or rework
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and gauges to verify specifications
• Grind, clean, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding
• Maintain production goals while ensuring quality workmanship
• Complete production, quality, and safety documentation accurately
• Report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, and safety concerns to supervisors
• Assist with material handling and movement of fabricated products throughout the facility

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
