MIG Welder

We are seeking an experienced SENIOR MIG WELDER/FABRICATOR to join our team in a customer-focused environment. The role involves producing high-quality welds efficiently, interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, and ensuring materials meet specifications by selecting appropriate welding methods. Responsibilities include performing first piece checks, maintaining production records, and organizing work to ensure timely completion of various job orders. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of MIG welding and fabrication experience, with proficiency in welding mild, stainless, and galvannealed steel, and comfort with flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds. Attention to detail and efficiency are essential. Produce precise, high-quality welds in accordance with customer specifications.Determine suitable welding methods and perform initial inspections before full production.Maintain accurate production records and organize work efficiently.Interpret blueprints and welding symbols accurately.Weld various types of steel using different positions and techniques.Adhere to safety standards and quality assurance protocols. Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of MIG welding and fabrication experience.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and symbols.Experience with flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds.Skilled in welding mild, stainless, and galvannealed steel.Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and safety-consciousness.
