Responsibilities

• Follow Kanban flow
• Adhere to standardized work procedures, work points, and quality control
• Apply OK/NG criteria and safety points
• Manage defects, control sheets, die change procedures, and short-stop recovery
• Report abnormal incidents
• Inspect first and last products
• Complete hourly production logs as needed
• Perform all tasks in compliance with safety and protection standards
• Achieve required competency level within 90 days of starting in the section
• Adjust break rotations to accommodate production line needs during breaks
• Rotate to other lines within the section and other sections to support production needs
• Perform other reasonably related duties as required by supervisor or manager

Qualifications

Pay

$19.00–$25.80/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential for second and third shifts. Inquire about experience-based pay rates.

Work Environment

Exposure to dust, noise, oils, grease, grinding residue, compressed air, metal chips, propane, solvents, and occasional heavy lifting. Potential exposure to hazardous machinery and conditions that could cause injury, including death, if safety measures are not followed. Exposure to typical shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils. Requires use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Work area temperature may be affected by outdoor temperatures and machining processes. Industrial lighting provided. Requires operating company equipment.
