The Midwest U.S. Regional Sales Manager position at Eden Foods is central to essential relationships aimed at achieving the company's goals. Eden Foods is a 58-year-old natural food company known for its artisan, authentically organic pantry food since 1968.
Responsibilities
- Organize, prioritize, and collaborate to develop working relationships within supply chain systems.
- Maintain Eden items available and well merchandised through accurate and thorough communications.
- Manage, train, and direct Eden food brokers, educating them about Eden Foods and its offerings.
- Proactively maintain and update Eden-stored data and records.
- Provide projections to the Sales and Accounting Departments, including timely updates.
- Allocate promotional budgets in collaboration with HQ staff and brokers.
- Provide incentive agreement data to HQ for completion and consideration.
- Use Eden Foods' business systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, macOS, Google Mail and Calendar, Paylocity, the AcctVantage ERP, and FileMaker Pro.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Marketing to carry out duties.
- Communicate effectively with distributors, retailers, co-ops, eCommerce businesses, food businesses, Eden Foods brokers, and personnel at Company facilities.
- Help oversee and protect Eden Foods' rights related to its trademarks and intellectual property.
- Manage business consistent with Eden Foods' Terms of Sale and Incentive Agreements.
- Document and submit Incentive Agreements professionally after approval.
- Distribute Company messages to accurately convey Eden Foods' work, services, food uses and benefits, and opportunities for win-win business.
- Collaborate with Accounting and customers regarding receivables and credit management.
- Help manage business consistent with Eden Foods' Terms of Sale and Incentive Agreements.
- Help oversee and protect Eden Foods' rights related to its trademarks and intellectual property.
Requirements
- Education and experience suitable for performing Sales Management tasks in the food industry.
- Ability to build sound business relationships with other professionals.
- Organizational skills with attention to accurate detail.
- Ability to communicate in a straightforward and forthright manner within the company and with others.
- Reliable follow-up and follow-through.
- Sound written, verbal, and computer skills.
- Forward-thinking entrepreneurial willingness, initiative, and enthusiasm.
- Be able to travel independently.
- Professional maintenance of reliably high moral and ethical standards.
