We're seeking an Engineering Director in Columbus, OH to lead and grow our thriving Midwest practice, guiding a talented team delivering innovative projects that make communities more livable. Responsibilities

• Mentor staff and project teams while overseeing the design and delivery of high-quality multimodal transportation projects.
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture that supports collaboration, growth, and accountability.
• Work alongside Midwest leadership to shape and implement regional marketing and growth strategies, identify key pursuits, and strengthen client relationships.
• Leverage understanding of local agencies, decision-makers, and regional standards to drive success.

Requirements

• PE license and local/regional consulting experience.
• 15+ years in multimodal design, including conceptual design and construction documents.
• 10+ years in project/design management and business development.
• Strong client relationship skills with a proven track record of winning work.
• Expertise in street design, construction documents, cost estimating, and permitting.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule with shared team days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Pay

Target salary range of $150,000 to $170,000; up to $200,000 for candidates whose qualifications significantly exceed the job requirements.
