Midstream Project Manager/Engineer
About the role
The Midstream Project Manager oversees and manages midstream infrastructure projects, including pipeline systems, water transfer infrastructure, facilities, SWDs, and related construction activities. This position is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with Company standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage midstream infrastructure projects from planning through execution and closeout.
- Perform hydraulic calculations along with other engineering functions as needed on the project.
- Cook up with engineering teams, operations personnel, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, land teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Oversee construction and installation activities for pipelines, facilities, transfer systems, and related infrastructure.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel and contractors.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and address delays.
- Manage project costs and procurement activities, including materials, equipment, and contractor services, while adhering to approved budgets.
- Cook up with permitting, regulatory compliance, inspections, and environmental requirements associated with midstream operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve project issues, conflicts, and operational challenges in a timely manner.
- Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and project documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, schedules, and construction documentation.
- Support commissioning, startup, and operational handoff activities upon project completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of related project management experience required.
- Experience in midstream, pipeline, oilfield water infrastructure, energy services, or construction management preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer and client relationship management skills.
- Budgeting, scheduling, and project planning experience.
- Knowledge of construction methods, pipeline systems, and midstream operations preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Physical Demands and Exposures
This position operates in both indoor office settings and outdoor field environments, including climate-controlled corporate facilities and varying outdoor conditions. The Company will provide adequate training and equipment necessary to safely and effectively perform the functions of the job. Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm. Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment. Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
