Responsibilities
- Aids engineering and petro-technical staff with data acquisition, preparation, and monitoring of activity across databases containing operational, AFE, and LOE data sets.
- Integrates data across financial, operational, and technical sources for a holistic view; collaborates with corporate teams to establish and enforce data quality standards.
- Develops analytical tools in partnership with engineering and petro-technical staff to provide insights into business workflows.
- Led cross-functional projects, aligning analytics with strategic objectives and engaging stakeholders throughout.
- Leverages AI tools to improve workflows and accelerate insight delivery.
- Designs interactive dashboards and visualizations for tracking and executive-level reporting; delivers presentations to leadership.
- Drives process improvements and automation for data collection, analysis, and reporting; documents best practices.
- Mentors Level 1-2 analysts and leads training on technical skills, advanced analytics, and data literacy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in relevant upstream/midstream Oil & Gas Operations.
- Working knowledge of oil and gas industry and software preferred (SAP, Aries, SCADA, Spotfire, GIS, Siteview, etc).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide array of other functions across the company.
- Experience in working with large datasets and database QC.
- Strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to multitask and adapt to change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Science/Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Geoscience, Engineering, or related degree.
