Midlevel Corporate M&A Associate

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate M&A agreements, including merger agreements, stock and asset purchase agreements, and letters of intent.
• Work on private equity transactions and related agreements, such as partnership agreements, joint ventures, and LLC operating agreements.
• Conduct due diligence and provide guidance on general corporate and business matters.
• Participate in the Representation and Warranty Insurance underwriting process.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Corporate M&A, with private equity transaction experience preferred.
• Strong drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple aspects of complex deals and work collaboratively with clients and team members.
• Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record in handling high-quality transactional work.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $265,000 – $350,000/year (based on experience and qualifications). Discretionary bonuses may also apply.
