Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate student involvement in clubs, campus events, and recreational activities.
• Provide one-on-one and/or small group support in the development/refinement of social communication skills.
• Support students in navigating campus and community resources.
• Documenting student progress towards social and/or independent living goals.
• Meet weekly with supervisor to discuss student progress.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• Student at Midlands Technical College
• Good communication skills
• Interest in working with students with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Strong teamwork and problem solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
