Midland Asphalt | Plant Maintenance Laborer | Clearfield, PA

Main Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on production equipment including but not limited to: oil pump piping system, valves, agitators, belts, Pumps, motors, etc.
• Aid in loading and unloading of tankers, trucks, etc.
• Stay updated and follow standard operating procedures while adhering to safety protocols with proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on production equipment and maintain a log of such activities.
• Diagnose and repair production operations by analyzing data, checking readings and gauges, and observing equipment.
• Order or seek approval for equipment parts and supplies.
• Respond to emergency calls regarding equipment repairs as required.
• Maintain general cleanliness and perform general maintenance of the plant.
• Periodically perform tasks involving working from heights with proper PPE.
• Assist in plant operations as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Previous electrical knowledge and experience required.
• Prior maintenance and welding skills preferred.
• Adhere to all Midland safety regulations.
• Able to lift 65 pounds and climb stairs.
• Proficient in basic math and computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
