About the role
This is an opportunity to step into a highly collaborative, globally connected environment where you’ll act as a key bridge between application and infrastructure teams across the US and Europe. The team is specifically targeting engineers who understand how to run and support applications in containerized environments rather than build the underlying infrastructure. If you enjoy troubleshooting production issues, improving application reliability, and working hands-on with modern container platforms while still leveraging traditional middleware and Linux expertise, this role offers strong long-term growth and exposure to enterprise-scale systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage OpenShift and Kubernetes environments for application administration, including managing pods, deployments, and troubleshooting
- Deploy, support, and maintain enterprise middleware such as Apache, Tomcat, or JBoss/WildFly
- Support production applications and work within ticketing or incident management systems
- Collaborate with distributed global teams to improve application reliability and resolve production issues
- Create automation scripts using PowerShell or similar tools
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or automation tools for application deployment
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications in IT environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar field
- Experience working with AWS environments such as ROSA or cloud-hosted applications
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments
- Basic understanding of SQL Server or other database systems
- Foundational networking knowledge including protocols and connectivity concepts
- Understanding of manufacturing or engineering application environments

Skills
