Middleware System Administrator / Onsite in Denton TX

The team is specifically targeting engineers who understand how to run and support applications in containerized environments rather than build the underlying infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Manage OpenShift and Kubernetes environments for application administration, including managing pods, deployments, and troubleshooting
• Deploy, support, and maintain enterprise middleware such as Apache, Tomcat, or JBoss/WildFly
• Support production applications and work within ticketing or incident management systems
• Collaborate with distributed global teams to improve application reliability and resolve production issues
• Create automation scripts using PowerShell or similar tools
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or automation tools for application deployment

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications in IT environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar field
• Experience working with AWS environments such as ROSA or cloud-hosted applications
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments
• Basic understanding of SQL Server or other database systems
• Foundational networking knowledge including protocols and connectivity concepts
• Understanding of manufacturing or engineering application environments
