About the job
We are looking to expand our pool of Education Champions for the upcoming school year. In this role, you will provide in-person academic support for Math and ELA to middle school students in 6th–8th grade math classrooms. Education Champions work alongside classroom teachers to enhance learning opportunities, provide individualized support, and help students build confidence and academic skills.
Qualifications
- Passion for Learning: Dedicated to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students
- Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field
- Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school
- Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success
